Spock then relates that the message informed him of this person's passing. Could this person be Scotty? Remember, he was caught in a transporter buffer for I believe 70 years or so. Everyone thought he was lost until the Enterprise-D crew rescued him. We've got a bit of a mystery here....
Okay...but Spock had already gone through his mourning scene with Captain Harriman aboard the Enterprise-B back in issue #1. And the event of Kirk's death from Generations happened just one year after Star Trek VI. When Spock gets word of a friend's death, this is much later.riker2049 wrote:Ok, first off...they were definitely talking about Kirk in that last page The whole thing with the person who was thought to be dead all of sudden and coming back and then also just died, it's definitely Kirk.
WAIT! I get it. So, you guys are saying this is referring not to Kirk's "death" aboard the Enterprise-B, but his true death on Viridian III--78 years later. Ah-ha! That sucks for Spock because now he has to mourn twice for the death of his friend.
